Ozone check valves protect spa ozone generators from water backflow.  A little part with a big job.  Protect your spa ozone generator by replacing the check valve annually.

Manufacturing spa ozone generators for over 25 years, DEL Ozone has created the 7-1140-01 green/white check valve which is a great improvement over past ozone check valves such as the 7-4012 clear/white and the 7-1140-01 blue/black check valves.

What makes the 7-1140-01 check valve superior compared to the old 7-4012 diaphragm or blue/black 7-1140-01 check valves?

• Ozone-resistant material (green/white) that holds up to even the highest ozone producing units: MCD-50, SO, HO and T3
• Nitric-acid resistant ceremic ball inside.  Old-style check valves stick shut with nitric acid, causing ozonator failure

If you have an old 7-4012 diaphragm check valve, note that they have no resistance (they basically don't protect your ozonator much).  Some spas have low flow, and the 7-4012 works best.  

However, most spas can handle the better 7-1140-01 and we encourage you to upgrade.  It's a good idea to keep a spare on hand.
