The 9-0002 Flow Meter is used to help set DELZONE UV Pool Ozone Generators to the right flow so ozone is introduced into pool water as effectively as possible ensuring maximum chemical reduction and crystal clear water.

What is the difference between the 9-0002 and 9-0002E used with Eclipse Pool Ozonators?  Since the Eclipses produce 5X more ozone than the old DELZONE models, they require the 9-0002E which is made using a SS Ball and special tubing that is ozone- and nitric-acid resistant.  If you have an Eclipse, you need the 9-0002E. 

Set the flow by getting the bouncing ball to stay relatively in the middle.  If it's stuck to one end, there is either too much flow, or not enough flow. 

TIP:  Remove the flow meter after setting flow; otherwise, moisture and nitric acid may drip into it and stick it shut.

If you have an old-school DELZONE pool ozonator, consider updating to modern CD technology, the DEL Ozone Eclipse.  With 5X the ozone and bright LED indicator lights letting you know when to replace the CD electrode(s), the Eclipse uses considerably less energy and gives you even more chemical reduction than before.
